Sorry for delay in reply. I do not know whether that brand of D is ok or not. The only real way to find out is to take it for a few months and measure you blood levels.

Dose of D is related to body weight so probably your dog will need a lower dose than you will!

I cut my dog's dose down after a couple of weeks, I wanted initially to get her levels up, same as with me. I now give her a 5,000iu every 2 or 3 days. She weighs about 65lbs and has bony spurs all along her spine.

As I only weigh 111lbs, how is it that 5,000 is ok for me if it's for someone weighing 200lb? That is very overweight surely?

I attempted to write to you by the means "contact" in your website. It seems not to work because when i ask to send me a copy, i don't receive the copy and you still haven't answer to me (though it's been only one day).

The questions were: it is not possible to choose FRANCE in place of USA when i subsciribe an account, even in simple checkout, when i want to buy D Vitamin, is it because of possible restrictions on this product for international delivery? Or is it because you simply do not ship to France ?

I forwarded your kit to my naturopath, Dr. Gladys Logan, in Gilbert AZ. We spoke a year ago about vitamin D test however I couldn't justify the cost.

I'm a researcher, perhaps I can find the vitamin d on hayhouse. Will provide here IF I do find it.

If it is the same for dogs as humans then unless you dog weighs 200 pounds I would think that 5000 IU per day would be TOO MUCH for the dog!

I am getting in touch with the MS consortium but I doubt they will publish the brand names for fear of lawsuit against them!

I'm 27 years old ,female.

Diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency last Nov,my level was 11ng,my treatment was 50.000 IU's of vitamin D3 weekly for 3 months, my level went up to 70ng,then my endo told me to stop the weekly doses and start my daily doses 800-1000 IU's daily,after 5 months my level decreased to 32ng.

I repeat the weekly treatment 50.000IU's for 5 weeks,felt so weak,tired and dizzy while taking the mega dose,I had to pushed my self to finish the 5 week, my level increased to 56 ng,Now I'm so confuse about my maintenance dose,How much do I need to maintain my level.

Another and important question;fatigue from vitamin d deficiency how long till improve?

I  had read hundreds of articles and studies;one of the studies mentions that muscle weakness or fatigue may require up to 12 months to resolve.

I have had another symptoms resolved over the past months,the very annoying thing is my fatigue.

P.s My thyroid levels are normal.

I of course can not give you direct advice due to legal issues but in my practice of medicine your daily maintenance dose will be dependent on several things. One of the big ones is your weight and another big one is your Vitamin D Receptor gene. The first is easy to find , the second not!

On average in my practice ONCE a person gets to normal they will need 2000- as much as 5000 IU per day to keep it normal.

the only way to check on it is with a blood test as you have been doing until you are stable.

I never find that 1000 IU per day is enough to maintain a good level in an adult

I’m in Scotland and after hunting got the Now Foods Vitamin D3 5,000iu capsules which only have Olive Oil and lanolin. I squeeze the contents, just a few drops on to my mashed banana in the morning. I noticed a difference by day 4! Just over £10 for 120 capsules delivered from JG Supplements.

I’m so pleased it’s helped you so much, hopefully I and my dog will be able to say the same soon.

Thank you for your nice webpage and for spreading my book! I am so glad it is available in England. You headache most probably went away because you were probably having osteomalacia in your neck that was cured with the Vitamin D.

Your post is quite correct on  your website and  you say it very well.

I would encourage you to do a challenge test with DMSA or DMPS to see how much mercury is in your body. I find in my practice a big relationship between MS and mercury toxicity. A blood level only shows the tip of the iceberg of Mercury
